IMS Noida organized Tech Fest named “Tech War Mauka-Mauka 2015”.

The Event Incharges were : Ms.Priti & Ms.Neetu under the  able  guidance of Dr.Manju Gupta.
The event started at 11:00 am and was started by Anchal Negi and Vaishali of  B.C.A
Firstly, lamp  lighting was done by:
Dr.. Manju Gupta (Associate Dean IT).
Ms. Neetu Singh (Program Coordinator (M.C.A))
Ms. Monika Dixit Bajpai (Program Coordinator (B.C.A))
After that a  performance was given by Akansha of BCA  on a song “Itni si hasi”. Tarun of BCA presented a dance performance on song “Mann Mera”.  There after Abhimanyu of M.C.A sang a song “Yaaro Dosti”. The events started after inauguration,and the Treasure Hunt was started which was guided by Dr.Manju  Gupta, later Poster Making  was guided by Ms.Pooja ,  Face Painting by Ms.Rashmi ,Coding was guided by Mr.Sudhir & Mr.Girish LAN Gaming was guided by Mr.Akhtar &Mr.Amit &Viral a Pic was guided by Ms.Priti.

Later the winner’s were announced :1st  & 2nd winners of treasure hunt were awarded with the cash prize & the winner’s were as follows:Shobit & team
The winner’s for Online Viral A Pic (Selfie) were:1st->Mr.Mayank,IInd ->Mr.Devil tarun.
The winner’s for Online Event AdMad Show  were:
1st->Praveen,Mohit,Abhimanyu & shobhit ,IInd ->Durgesh,Govind,Vikas & Deepshikha. The winner’s for LAN Gaming  were:1st->Mr.Gaurav Bhatt,IInd ->Mr.Pushpak Kumar.
The winner’s for Coding Contest were:1st->Ms.Ruchika,IInd ->Mr.Shubham &IIIrd->Ms.Nisha.
The winner’s for Poster Making  were:1st->Ms.Simple ,IInd ->Ms.Mayuri Prasad ,  IIIrd->Shobhit  & Appreciation award->Ms.Deepshikha.
The winner’s for Face Painting  were:1st->Ms.Ruchika & Mr.Tarun , 
IInd ->Ms.Nusrat &Mr.Shashanka.,IIIrd ->Ankush & Mr.Pushpendra.
Last but not the least the valedictory session was held where all the awards were distributed accordingly.Overall the event was a great success.

The School of Journalism & Mass Communication organized special lectures on “The Role of Input & Output Department in News Channels” to educate and familiarize the students of SJMC on these issues. There was an overwhelming response from the students and they interacted with the guest speaker’s during question-answer session. Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Input Head of P7 News Channel explained the process and criteria of the selection and collection of news. He further explained how the Input department collects the raw news stories from the Local Correspondents, Bureaus throughout the country, along with news feeds from various Agencies, Foreign Correspondents and Retainers. He explained the priorities of the News Channels and elaborated the different modes of operations and strategies

Best out of waste competition@IMSNOIDA.IN

In the new session Creative Club activities of BCA started with “Best out of waste Competition” in IT Department of IMS NOIDA. This event was held on 23rd only creativity and presentation skills but also helped the students to realize the importance of recycling and reusing waste material available to them.The program began with the formation of teams, for enhancing the team spirit in the students while working. Ms. Nancy Mendiratta and Ms. Nidhi Sharma (Creative Club In-Charges) guided the students over how to use waste material available at home.Students were engaged in handicrafts using plastic bottle , sticks , newspapers, fused bulb, bottle cap and so on during the competition. They created Pen Stand , Flower vase , Night Lamp , Jewellery box and so on. Students actively participated in the event.  Group 1 won the First Prize in the event (Pen Stand).
