To provide a platform to the students to improve the communication abilities, solve problems creatively, and increase their self-confidence. To encourage the students to showcase their analytical thinking.Debate is a method of interactive and representational argument. The outcome of a debate depends upon consensus or some formal way of reaching a resolution, rather than the objective facts as such. Workshop on -“Data structure and OOPs Concepts”

Department of IT has conducted a workshop on “Data structure and OOPs Concepts” for students of BCA program. It was held on 27/04/2015 at 10 AM onwards. The purpose of this workshop was to motivate the students towards various tricks, techniques and methodologies used to understand the concept in a real time situation.He briefed about the concept of data types and data structures. The session began with the discussion over need of class in a real time scenario and how it is referenced by an object. The topic was discussed with shortcuts and tricks which are very useful in many entrance exams as well as for interviews. Students participated and discussed the issues very actively. Interaction was positive with the students, and their doubts were cleared so as to make them more vocal in front of crowd.Finally the workshop was accomplished with a positive and cheerful environment and with warm vote of thanks.

Donate for NEPAL-Help the Mankind

As we all know that  Nepal was recently hit by a 7.9 rector scale earthquake having its epicentre in a place nearby the capital Kathmandu. The condition being critical and all the facilities are down due to the vast destruction in the country . This has created a panic situation for all and the condition is not yet stable. There is a massive rate of deaths caused by the earthquake which has almost reached 3000 people and more. Many are still missing and rescue team from all around the world are helping out.  Therefore,  a fund raiser program has been organized for three days starting from 30th April 2015 within the campus. The donation box has been placed at the reception. Those who want to help can put their contribution in the box.I would like to request you to all to help the mankind as e very contribution will make a huge difference in lives. Panel Discussion on ' Changing Patterns of Education Boards Expectations in 2015',

Education today has become a norm and this norm is changing every now and then .With the paterns being changed ,with the newer forms upheld ,patrons of the education system do find it  convineant somewhere and also raise questions on the need for the same  .Keeping in mind the talk of time for patterns being changed for all education boards ,a Panel Discussion was held with Principals and senior academic incharges of Schools in Noida and Ghaziabad .The discussion was co-ordinated by Barsha Chabaria –Stataionhead ,Salaam Namaste Community Radio  .The discussion for the panel brightly opened up with exemplary words and ideas of Dr .Prof .N.K.Trikha Sir –Dean SJMC . The Event Incharges were : Ms.Priti & Ms.Neetu under the  able  guidance of Dr.Manju Gupta. The event started at 11:00 am and was started by Anchal Negi and Vaishali of  B.C.A Firstly, lamp  lighting was done by: Dr.. Manju Gupta (Associate Dean IT). Ms. Neetu Singh (Program Coordinator (M.C.A)) Ms. Monika Dixit Bajpai (Program Coordinator (B.C.A)) After that a  performance was given by Akansha of BCA  on a song “Itni si hasi”. Tarun of BCA presented a dance performance on song “Mann Mera”.  There after Abhimanyu of M.C.A sang a song “Yaaro Dosti”. The role of guest lecturer is an important one. Learned people have been called upon to share their knowledge, expertise and real life experiences with students. Students get benefit from being exposed to the additional perspectives that a guest lecturer can provide. Guest lectures are an integral part of the pedagogy of IMS Law College.Computer fraud and digital crimes are growing day by day and as law students it is important to understand the application of digital/computer technologies, and require the development of a proper methodology to systematically search digital devices for significant evidence. To keep this in mind IMS Law college organized a Guest lecture on “Digital Forensic and Fraud Investigation” on  April 15, 2015. The honorable guest speaker Mr. Alok Gupta (Founder and Managing Director of Pyramid Cyber Security and Forensic ( P ) Ltd) delivered the lecture  on the topic and enlighten the students about the cyber crime, frauds related to computer and mobiles.

IMS Law College, Noida in Co-ordination with Adyopant Legal Services & Atmabodh organized Legal Awareness street play on 4th April, 2015 within the college premises.Ims Law College students presented a street play on the topic of “Cyber Crime”.Adyopant Legal Services is a full service law firm based in Delhi with particular expertise in general commercial and corporate law, intellectual property law, public policy and litigation. Adyopant Legal Services have a community outreach programme for spreading legal awareness in the society on sensitive topics and nurturing the socially sensitive young lawyers.The street play enacted will aim to raise awareness amongst the general public/residents on issue relating to legal rights and obligations that are of relevance in our day-to-day life especially in the field of cyber world.The play was co-ordinated by Anneysha Kuudu (Student of X semester)& Ankit Dixit (student of VI semester )under the guidance of Ms Neha Singh , Law Faculty .T

The students of SJMC, experienced it . The show was empanelled by Mandira Bedi,Yashpal Sharma, Chetan Sharma and the host was Saurav Sharma.The show was very informative and discussion took place between audience and panel of experts regarding the  current scenario of Indian cricket team in this ongoing world cup 2015 and mainly focused on the next match of the tournament. The discussion covered every possible angle of the given subject. Anchor Saurav Sharma raised many questions which was counter attacked by the panel. School of IT, IMS NOIDA had organized quiz on “Puzzles” on 10th, april ,2015 This quiz organized under the kind guidance of Ms.Rashmi Trivedi and Ms.Pooja JunejaEvery Individual needs to be smart enough to use their brains well to solve a puzzle. So in order to test and know the logical thinking of the IT students this “Quiz on Puzzles” was conducted on 10th april 2015. The students of IT participated with full enthusiasm and showed their skills on logica questions. The quiz was prepared by Anchal, Simarpreet. Questions were excellently chosen which were both informative and interesting. There were questions basically from the information based around the world .This was a combine quiz prepared for BCA  sem VI, both sec A and sec B, where 68 students participated. First round of quiz was to check the basic understanding of students regarding marketing, its concepts and trends of marketing in real corporate world. Second round was focused on brand positioning and their advertising. Third round was focused to check the knowledge of participants about leaders of business world. Fourth and last round was about creativity and imagination of participants, to find the links between different hints provided in form of pictures.
