Quiz based on Reasoning @IMSNOIDA Campus

School of IT, IMS NOIDA had organized quiz on 1st, May ,2015.

This quiz organized under the kind guidance of Ms.Rashmi Trivedi and Ms.Pooja JunejaEvery Individual needs to be smart enough to use their brains well to solve a reasoning question. So in order to test and know the logical thinking of the IT students this “Quiz on Reasoning” was conducted on 1st May 2015. The students of IT participated with full enthusiasm and showed their skills on reasoning questions. The quiz was prepared by vaishali, Simarpreet. Questions were excellently chosen which were interesting. There were questions basically from the information based around the world. This was a combine quiz prepared for BCA  sem VI, both sec A and sec B, where 52 students participated. This quiz was conducted by vaishali who carried on the quiz very efficiently.Though the questions were brain storming yet students participated very enthusiastically. almost every questions were answered . Kavita, Govind,  Akanksha, Rakhi performed very nicely in this quiz.The entire class was divided into 4 groups, i.e. A, B, C and D. With every question asked by the anchor came a bonus question asked by vaishali which added yet another twist to the quiz. Those questions gave the students more knowledge about the topic on which they had just answered a question. As all the previous quizzes conducted this was again a successful one. The information and facts which came through the questions added to the knowledge of the students.

He further explained how the Input department collects the raw news stories from the Local Correspondents, Bureaus throughout the country, along with news feeds from various Agencies, Foreign Correspondents and Retainers. Best out of waste competition@IMSNOIDA.IN

In the new session Creative Club activities of BCA started with “Best out of waste Competition” in IT Department of IMS NOIDA. This event was held on 23rd only creativity and presentation skills but also helped the students to realize the importance of recycling and reusing waste material available to them.The program began with the formation of teams, for enhancing the team spirit in the students while working. Ms. Nancy Mendiratta and Ms. Nidhi Sharma (Creative Club In-Charges) guided the students over how to use waste material available at home.Students were engaged in handicrafts using plastic bottle , sticks , newspapers, fused bulb, bottle cap and so on during the competition. They created Pen Stand , Flower vase , Night Lamp , Jewellery box and so on. Students actively participated in the event.  Group 1 won the First Prize in the event (Pen Stand).
