IMSNOIDA organized skit programme related to consumer awareness and Labour problems

Play or skit is the way through which you can directly approach the mind and

communicate your ideas to the audience. IMSNOIDA Law College organized a skit programme on two different issues related to consumer awareness and Labour issues.Net neutrality was the  first issue related to the  rights of the net users as a consumer and the Second issue was on the Labour problems On 1st May 2015 on the occasion of world Labour Day.Net Neutrality is a very new concept of which people are not fully aware. Those who are regular users of internet are now under threat of slowing down of speed of internet and simultaneously have to pay additional charges for using the websites not included in their internet connectivity tariff. Now it would no more be possible for one to recharge single net pack and login all sites by the same recharge. For e.g. one has to pay separate charges for using Facebook.com, Flipcart.com, Amazon.com etc respectively. Though the matter is under consideration of TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) and more than one lakh applications have been received in favour of Net Neutrality. The students of IMSNOIDA Law College endeavoured their best to make the audience acquainted with this growing problem through the skit and suggested that those who want to support Net Neutrality can login TRAI’s web site and can send their suggestions  in support of it. The second skit was related to factory workers who are facing a lot of difficulties like less remuneration than their work, unsafe and unhealthy condition of work place, compensation to the workers due to machine injury, and child labour issues etc.The progamme on consumer issue was inaugurated by HoD-IMSNOIDA Law College Dr. Niti Sinha. Skits on both the issues were performed by Nikhil Tripathi, Yash Chahal, Sanjana, Avani Verma, Manoj, Sahil Juneja, Faheem, S.Abhinav, Madhu Rani and Kashish Acharya with the support of Manish of IInd Year. The event was coordinated by Neelam Seam and Punam Bhagat ,IMSNOIDA law College faculty.
