Two days FDP on BIGDATA Analytics using HADOOP Technology

The inaugural session of FDP began at Institute of Management Studies, Noida on 21st March, 2014 followed by two days technical session program. The program began with the lightening of lamp by Mr. P.K. Agarwal (Dean-Management), Mr. Vikas Shrivastava (trainer), Dr. Manju Gupta (HOD, IT), Ms. Neetu Singh, Ms. Ruchi Saxena and Ms. Priti Rani Rajvanshi.
Mr. P.K. Agarwal (Dean-Management) welcomed the delegates and enlightened them on the relevance of Big Data Analytics. He said that more and more businesses are finding out that they need to analyze their stored data to help them make better business decisions and HADOOP now a day is a good solution provider in this regard.
On this occasion, the trainer Mr. Vikas Srivastava told that HADOOP is a like a fine wine: It gets better with age as rough edges (or flavor profiles) are smoothed out. This is the technology of future of Big Data. He said that HADOOP, however, lets you store as much data as you want in whatever form you need, simply by adding more servers to a HADOOP cluster. Each new server (which can be commodity x86 machines with relatively small price tags) adds more storage and more processing power to the overall cluster. This makes data storage with HADOOP far less costly than prior methods of data storage.
Dr. Manju Gupta (HOD-IT) also welcomed the delegates and gave vote of thanks. Ms. Neetu Singh gave token of respect to the trainer.
The event is coordinated by Ms. Neetu Singh, Ms. Ruchi Saxena and Ms. Priti Rajvanshi. The inaugural session was anchored by Ms. Ayushi Alagh.
