IMS Noida holds F.D.P “Faculty Development Training”
Institute ofManagement Studies, IMS Noida organized 2 day Faculty Development Training in
the campus.
Around 50 Faculty
members from various institutes across Delhi NCR have participated in the
Training session. The Inaugural Ceremony of the FDP was started by welcoming
all the dignitaries.
Prof. S. K
Kak, Vice Chancellor, MTU was the chief guest of the session along with Mr R. K
Agrawal from JNU.
Prof Kak discussed that earlier systems available were not so powerful in terms of Memory, Word Length and Computational Power but today machines with these features are available. The Kind of compression and throughput today is something that one desires few decades back.
The ceremony
began by lamp lighting by the chief guest.

He told
about learning process also, that if it is done in right proportion at right
time and in right sequence, learning will be a pleasure.
For FDP’s he
said these programes not only develop teachers but it tries to explore together
to make better understanding of enormous technologies available.
The event
was preceded by the technical session by Mr R K Agrawal from JNU. He started by
giving introduction of Neural Network and its applications.
The event was coordinated by Dr Sunayna Jain.
