Bhagwat Geeta – A Motivational Tool & Management Approach




The Bhagavad Geeta means, Song of the Lord and includes all the tactics, principles and strategies of management which if, applied in today’s world can be extremely fruitful . The teacher of the Bhagavad Geeta is Lord Krishna who has very well explained all the management principles and tactics to his disciple Arjun.
It majorly emphasizes on all the Management Principles which are very much relevant today’s world.
Lord Krishna had preached allthe management principles in Bhagwat Gitaand also introduced modern management concepts long before Peter Ducker, Fayol, Taylor and other Management gurus.
As Arjuna was under depression and unhappy when he had to fight with his people in Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna reminded him his duties as a warrior and prince, motivated and counseled him to perform his duty and tried to remove problem of emotional and intellect conflict as we also sometimes face in todays world and he also taught all the management principles and tactics like Honesty, Sincerity, Truthfulness etc. so that he found the peace of mind to face all situations.
Arjuna’s declining moraleboosted; motivation, confidence and effectiveness were enhanced by his preachings.
In today’s life , most of us  are depressed, demotivated, dejected no matter whether we are employees, entrepreneurs or homemakers and due to all these, the environment around becomes unfavorable, unhealthy, unproductive.Geeta teaches all of us spiritual enlightenment, the art of self-management, conflict management, stress, anger management, transformational leadership, motivation, goal setting and many others aspects of management which can be used as a guide to increase HRM efficiency and effectiveness and bring about synergy.If one is mentallyhappy then one can achieve any milestone in spite of having any physical inadequacy and be successful in life.

If we go through Bhagwat Geeta we would come to know that it teaches about planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling specifically "Mind Control" that makes the Personality of a person and strongly focuses on self-discipline & meditation and performing our duties in full-fledged and disciplined manner

Therefore,by  the teachings of "Bhagwat Geeta" one is certainly going to excel professionally & personally and would able to maintain work-life balance.
