Induction Programme of PGDM, BBA SCHOLARS AND BBA+PGDM INTERGATED PROGRAMME 2015 at Hotel Radission Blu



School of Management at Institute of Management Studies, Noida conducted an orientation Programme of PGDM 1ST TRIMESTER,  BBA SCHOLARS AND BBA INTERGATED on 20/08/2015, Thursday at  Hotel Radisson Blu, Ghaziabad. The program started sharp at 02.00 PM with warm welcome of eminent  guests  and the students  along with their parents by Ms K.P Kanchana  in the benign presence of  Dr Kamaljit Singh (Executive Director IMS), Dr Debarshi Mukherjee (Associate Dean Management).

Dr Debarshi Mukherjee (Associate Dean Management) at the onset warmly welcomed the students to their new intellectual world from where their new journey start under the guidance of their faculty members, he address the students about the future opportunities and corporate challenges.

Dr. Kamaljit Singh (Executive Director)-He emphasized the students on the changing technology and focusing on the importance of the decision making in India which is an individual centric then US. He appreciated the students for their mature decision making and motivated them to move with the same pace to in building their career choices in future. He also explains the student about the incubation, opportunity cost and the mentorship which is more important for the youth today. He motivated students to stick to their decision for better communication rather than just speaking about what their decision. He inform them to create their own niche to market themselves, as according to him there is nothing by chance in this world.
  
Mr. RANTEJ SINGH VP Reuters Market Light (RML) Information Services, Industry Mentor
The mind and soul of the students were shaked by asking their big dreams about life .He specify the various opportunities which are available in India as for example he quote –outsourcing, but the problem the people face with the Indians is the trust which they could not get from the Indians. He shared his career journey with students as a successful entrepreneur and the various challenges he face to taste the success.

Mr. Michael Gordon, Programme Coordinator – Direct Teaching, British Council
He congratulates the students for their selection of the institute and introduces the students with the British Council Organization with the importance of English in the country as it is not important only for the individual growth but also for the growth of the country.

Ms Jyoti Channa on American Library Access Procedure
She introduce the students about American Library and its use in the promotion of moral, culture, business treats etc to the society. She introduced the various membership programs to the students and live chat with the diplomats in the family.

  Mr. Rakesh E Mohandas, IBM Analytics
He enlightens the students with the importance of maths and statistics in the real life to solve the day to day problems. These two help in developing the logical and rational thinking among the individual and associated the human brain with the analytics.

Mr. Pradipto Chakraborty, ComTIA on Industry Certification Opportunity
He spoke on the growing importance of ICT and E-commerce. He informed the students that there are more opportunities in e-commerce for the management graduate then that of an engineer .To be a winner in a corporate you need to be well versed with ICT tools as each and every information today depends on technology.

Mr. Ashish Mittal, Authorized partner for Google Apps on Premium Summer Internship Programme
He enlightened the students with the various technologies of Google which are available for the students learning, applications and research. He also state on the power of search and importance of Google Docs, Drives which were made known to the students for sharing their lecture, notes and assignments.

Mr.Puneet Bali, Head Services, Idea Cellular
Mr. Bali focused on the competitive World requirement by the corporate. He discussed Technology in detail and emphasized on Quality Output by highlighting four parameters i.e Value, Integrity, Seamlessness, and Attitude. He spoke about the positive attitude with Aptitude is important to succeed in life. He also shared his experiences to the students by sharing his Passion, commitment and will power towards life to achieve the organizational as well as life’s Goal.

Mr. David Whittenberg on Pedagogical Issues
Mr. David started his session with a joyous, laughter story of a frog. He emphasized on Understanding Value and Learning to manage. He shared his believes on Value exchange is the foundation of commerce. Values increase if benefits are more than the price we are paying for. He focused on few important points for the student’s i.e Economy, convenience, self actualization, entertainment. The motto for the students to remember is that All Business focus on delivering value to the customer.

Mr. Vikas Jain, on Higher National Diploma
Mr. Vikas initiated the session with the introduction of Pearson Publication and importance of BTEC HND Program and EDEXCEL Programme in Students life. He focused the students with the quality learning exposure provided to the students by person where Pearson delivers National Qualification in England, he confidently stated students to believe in Learning. Pearson covers entire arena of one’s education from 6th to 19th of his/her age. He shared his views by sharing a video focusing on successful future through technology, Connected learning.

A special session for the caselet discussion was conducted by Executive Director Dr. Kamaljit Singh Anand which was highly appreciated by the students.

At last the session ended with vote of thanks to all the dignitaries by Dr. Mahua Datta.
